I used these wonderfully HD screencaps for this set, but the episode is so dark that I couldn't create the 300+ batch that I had intended!

I especially wanted to make icons with our gloved space wizard bb but it became such a chore to work with these screencaps and have to edit out all of the noise / add detail where there was none to touch up the final edit that I just stopped at 56. I really tried!

To those more skilled in the arts~~: what is your advice on this? Do you have any constructive feedback that you'd like to give to this batch?

I'm all ears! lmao I am so stuck. Dark caps are not my thing, man.

I don't have any suggestions for working with dark caps, but I think you did a good job with what you were able to create. I snagged one of the Grogu icons. Thanks!

Dark caps are SO HARD to work with. You did a great job and I really like some of the crops you've selected here!

They totally are!! Tbh the noise reducer (or surface blur, if things were cray) and the smart sharpening tool were my weapons of choice here.

I usually had some lighting for the dark caps, it hides the ugly parts, or the ones that had no details anyway, while giving some lights.
