Jessica Alba got a lot of flack for her portrayal in this role, which I think is unfair. Tim Story gave her awful direction, telling her that her crying "looks too real" and "too painful". He said to her, "can you be prettier when you cry? Cry pretty, Jessica... don't do that thing with your face. Just make it flat. We can CGI the tears in." This is also the role that made her drift away from acting. Honestly, I thought she did a fantastic job given the behind-the-scenes facts involved. So I made this batch to honor that.

Ugggh I didn't know that about this movie and I don't blame her for drifting away from acting after that. I've loved her since Dark Angel and I always appreciate seeing icon sets of her, and these are lovely! Thank you for making :D

i'm coming to these late but i really appreciate what you said about jessica; i've been a big fan of hers since dark angel (clearly) and reading that interview made me so angry, especially since she went into the role with such enthusiasm. (i also appreciate the puns.)
